Questions & Answers

  • I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice or missed without notice will be charged the full session fee.

A 15-minute grace period is honored for scheduled sessions. After 15 minutes, the session will be considered a no-show.

More than three late cancellations or no-shows may result in termination of services.

  • I am currently in network with Aetna, Cigna, Oxford, UnitedHealthcare, Oscar Health, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas (HMO & PPO).

If I am not in network with your plan or you choose not to use insurance, I can provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Coverage varies by plan, so I encourage you to contact your insurance provider to understand your benefits before starting therapy.

  • I respond to all emails, texts, and phone calls within 1–2 business days. Once we connect, we will schedule an intake or meet-and-greet session.

The first session is an initial assessment, focused on getting to know one another and determining whether we are a good fit. Together, we will begin identifying your treatment goals and establish a pace of therapy that honors your nervous system.

I’m also happy to answer any questions you may have about therapy or the therapeutic process.

  • I understand that finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming. To support this process, I offer a 30-minute Meet & Greet via video or phone to answer your questions, explore fit, and provide referrals if needed.

  • Counselors are bound by strict confidentiality, and what you share in session is kept private.

There are limited exceptions required by law. Confidentiality may be broken if there is suspected abuse or neglect of a minor or a vulnerable adult (age 65+), or if there is risk of serious harm to you or others. In these situations, steps may be taken to ensure safety, which can include contacting appropriate authorities or emergency supports.

While confidentiality is foundational to therapy, these exceptions exist to protect everyone involved. I strive to be collaborative and transparent, prioritizing safety and working together to create safety plans when needed.
