I’m Ariel Morado MS, LPC (pronouns she/her)
I help high-achieving adults, college students, professionals, and athletes heal from trauma, regulate their nervous systems, and create meaningful change without sacrificing the parts of themselves that drive success.
Many of my clients are the people others rely on. They are ambitious, capable, and deeply caring—yet beneath the surface, they may be carrying anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, difficult life experiences, or the lingering impact of trauma.
My goal is to provide a space where you can step out of survival mode, reconnect with yourself, and build a life that feels more balanced, intentional, and aligned with your values.
Clinical Experience
Over the years, I've had the privilege of supporting individuals through some of life's most challenging moments—from crisis intervention and trauma recovery to the quieter struggles of anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, and major life transitions.
My clinical experience includes working with survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and human trafficking, as well as adolescents and adults navigating PTSD, dissociation, anxiety, depression, chronic stress, and the lasting impact of unresolved experiences. I also work with high-functioning individuals who often appear successful on the outside while carrying overwhelm, self-criticism, or emotional exhaustion beneath the surface.
These experiences have shaped my belief that healing isn't about fixing who you are. It's about understanding the patterns that helped you survive, expanding your capacity for nervous system regulation, and creating new ways of relating to yourself and others.
Today, I integrate EMDR, nervous system regulation, mindfulness, attachment-focused work, and other evidence-based approaches to help clients move beyond survival mode and build lives rooted in resilience, authenticity, and meaningful connection.
Why I Became a Therapist
My own experiences with loss, anxiety, and trauma shaped the way I understand healing. I know what it's like to appear capable on the outside while quietly struggling internally.
These experiences deepened my respect for the courage it takes to ask for support and reinforced my belief that healing happens through compassion, connection, and intentional growth.
I became a therapist because I wanted to help others navigate life's challenges without having to carry them alone.
Outside the Therapy Room
Outside of work, you'll often find me spending time at a yoga studio, reading psychological thrillers, gaming, watching sports, or enjoying time with my boxer dog and cockatiel bird.
As a former collegiate golfer, I understand the discipline, pressure, and identity that can accompany high performance—experiences that continue to inform my work with athletes and high-achieving adults today.
If You're Ready...
You don't have to continue navigating stress, pressure, or painful experiences on your own.
Therapy can be a space where you reconnect with yourself, strengthen your resilience, and move toward a life that feels more fulfilling and sustainable.
I'd be honored to walk alongside you in that process.
